Biography of Elodie

Formation/ Training/ Studies :     

Elodie Seignobos is graduated in polymer chemistry from INSA Rouen, a school of engineering. She completed her background with a Research MSc in polymer science from University of Rouen, and a PhD in polymer physics at Rhodia/CNRS joint lab LPMA.

Carrière / Carreer : 

She started to work for Rhodia in 2006 as PhD student with a research on fatigue of polyamide. She was hired as product development scientist for Automotive market in 2009. She led projects aiming at developing new polyamide solutions embedding chemical resistance and heat ageing resistance. In 2016, she took in charge the Additive Manufacturing laboratory of Solvay’s Engineering Plastics division. She is now responsible for the development of Technyl Applications, leading teams of Advanced Mechanical Characterization, Simulation, Part testing and prototyping.

Biography of Alexandre

Educational Background

Alexandre graduated from INSA of Rouen Engineering school in 2001, with a Masters in Energy & Propulsion. He obtained his PhD in 2004 from INP Grenoble for his work on “Large Eddy Simulation of turbulent flows with heat transfer”.

Career :

Alexandre started working in 2004 at Technicatome for the Nuclear Propulsion defense industry as a codes and methods engineer in system thermal hydraulics simulation. In 2010 he joined Framatome as a simulation and modeling expert in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and 2-phase flows. He switched in 2016 to the chemical process industry at Solvay Research Center as a CFD process simulation engineer and then as Manager of a multidisciplinary team of 11 simulation, economic assessment and life-cycle analysis engineers.

He is now part of DOMO Engineering Materials Simulation Team since 2020 as MMI simulation engineer for customer technical support and with a responsibility of continuous improvement of DOMO’s MMI Database quality and models development.

Biography 

Dieter graduated from Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg in 1995 with a PhD degree in Chemistry. He joined Exxon Energy Chemicals in 1994 as R&D scientist and Nalco-Exxon Energy Chemicals as Senior R&D scientist in 1995. He has been with Bekaert Fibre Technologies since January 1999 as market manager in various sales functions. October 2016 he became part of BFT’s business development team as Global Business Development Manager. His focus in on component solutions for hydrogen electrolysis, innovative composite materials and wicking applications.

Biography

After graduating from the University of Antwerp in 2006 as Master in Product Engineering, Danny completed his education in General and Innovation Management at the Antwerp Management School. He started his career in Bekaert in 2007 at the Corporate Strategy department working on various corporate growth projects and market intelligence. Since 2017, Danny is Head of Business Development within Bekaert Fiber Technologies, focusing on Innovation and Commercialization of new solutions within metallic fibers and porous metals.
